At CS we have plenty of in-house expertise and manufacturing capability for your next commercial project. Some of our products are bent to unique shapes using our in-house thermoforming machine. This means a one-piece door corner guard can be created for maximum protection. Less joins means less weak spots for ongoing costly repair and maintenance.
Thermoforming is a specialist technique where just the right heat is applied to the product to allow a pliable forming to occur, usually around a guide mold, to ensure the radius angles are accurate. Once cooled, the product retains its new shape, ready for installation. The thermoforming products in the CS range include the Acrovyn® VA (Various Angle) Corner Guards and Door Frame Protection. The unique monolithic design ensures a seamless finish for clean aesthetics and perform functionality.
By pushing the boundaries beyond colour and pattern, thermoforming allows architects and interior designers more creative freedom for their projects. By listening and adapting to our clients’ needs, we are always thinking how we can ‘make buildings better’.
With local manufacturing capabilities at our Enfield, Sydney head office, Construction Specialties can bring all sorts of creative visions to life. By offering in-house thermoforming capability this means shorter lead times and better flexibility to customise to your specific project needs.
