Since the pandemic began in 2020, Construction Specialties has been looking into ways on how to assist the community during these difficult times that have occurred and as part of our statement ‘Making Buildings Better’ we believe that it is vital to help our community in any way possible.
As part of our ongoing charity donations from the team at Construction Specialties Australia, we recently supported Food For Life, with some of our Acrovyn® wall protection sheets and corner guards to help with their new cool room facilities. “These will be invaluable in helping us protect the new cool room and dry storage rooms that we have recently built”, said David Tuechler the CEO of Food For Life.
Food for Life is the Sydney arm of Food for Life Global which serves 2 million meals each day. The Sydney arm was established in 1995 and it is entirely managed by over 250 volunteers. Every year, they prepare food and freely distribute to over 60,000 poor and destitute members of our community.
